After collaborating on several award-winning surf films Chris McClean (director) and CJ Mirra (musician / composer) have created an other-worldly live audio-visual performance which features breathtaking cinematography from some of the worlds most ethereal surfing environments and the sublime electronic soundscapes which led their previous films to be screened worldwide at festivals including SXSW, London, Berlin, Lisbon, San Diego, Sydney and San Fransisco.
The set will feature live reworks of films such as Beyond the Scars (Channel 4 - 2013), Edges of Sanity (Finisterre - 2015) alongside new and improvised material played live by CJ Mirra who will be joined on stage by producer Kirk Spencer. Synthesisers, guitars, vocals and live processing will be soundtracking some of the most dark and beautiful surf footage which McClean will be projecting and manipulating live to create this immersive and interactive performance.
