It s a honor to collaborate again with Cinema Caravan.
We cant remember the first time we met, but yes that it was thanks to our friend Kurando. Their arrival to the Plaza de la Trinidad in San Sebastián during the San Sebastián Film Festival of 2013 was fantastic! Their set up, style, contents and mood they created was a total highlight! All Their projects are of a suprem quality, and we have wanted to reivindicate their vision of the World in 2015. We show a small selection of shorts from the Basque surf culture, but more important, some of their key members are art directing Surfilmfestibal13.... We like their vision, their spirituality, and their unique and original aesthetic approach far from all the occidental surf currents.
Zushi Beach Film Festival
Zushi Beach Film Festival was the origin of Cinema Caravan, back in 2010. Is a modern and itinerant japanese culture festival that takes place in a big tent where cinema, gastronomy, live music, painting and performance live together. Its is a real opportunity for artist to exhibit and share their creations.
The Cinema Caravan team has no limit, all the people taking part of the festival are members of our crew. That´s why members are growing fast all around Japan and worldwide. It is more than a japanese modern art show; Cinema Caravan look for other cultures, wants to communicate their own and share experiences using imagination and creativity.
In September 2013 we produced the first Cinema Caravan in Donostia within the San Sebastian Film Festival, in 2015 we´re collaborating with Surfilmfestibal, and we´re looking forward to coming back to San Sebastian in 2016!
