Choosing surf culture’s original principles as a theme (harmony with Nature and wellbeing) he festival invites the big audience to a maiden voyage combining the art of living well, creation and entertainment.
WAKE-UP ! Like a breath of pure air, Donibane will wake up all your senses : up and rising bands in concert (Jacco Gardner, Odei, Mazes...), sport activities (Belharra Waterman Club, Egureskoa...) ,surf culture (Projections de Morning of the Earth, Secret Sound Underground... Luc Rolland’s Installation), exhibitions revealing the young contemporary local scene (Valentine Reinhardt, Pandora Decoster, Manon Boulart...) and fooding (Basque cuisine revisited by young chef Chloé cuisine en vert...).
A celebration in the shape of a dynamic and warm tribute to the region!
The source of this event goes back to two local and national spectrum structures: Nabie and Surfilmfestibal.

WAKE-UP ! Donibane arrive à point nommé pour exploiter et sublimer tous les atouts d’une région unique en son genre.
En choisissant comme fil rouge les préceptes originels de la culture surf (communion avec la nature et bien être), le festival invite le grand public à un parcours initiatique faisant rimer bien vivre, création et divertissement.
WAKE-UP ! Donibane comme une bouffée d'air pur fera appel à tous vos sens : concerts de jeunes formations en vue (Jacco Gardner, Odei, Mazes...), activités sportives (Belharra Waterman Club, Egureskoa...) , culture surf (Projections de Morning of the earth, Secret Sound Underground... Installation de Luc Rolland), expositions révélant la jeune scène contemporaine locale (Valentine Reinhardt, Pandora Decoster, Manon Boulart...) et fooding autours des mets locaux (cuisine basque revisitée par la jeune chef Chloé cuisine en vert...).
Une célébration sous forme d’hommage à une région dynamique et chaleureuse !
